Today I did arms and abs! It was harder than I thought it was going to be! By the second time going through the first circuit, I had to roll over ( my arms were to sore to push myself back up) to the bench where I did triceps dips. I took breaks, not going to lie. But I listened to my body and I proved that I could!
Just a friendly reminder for your fitness journey: Your muscles do not grow during exercise. Exercise is only the stimulus. The body strengthens the muscles while you are resting.
So make sure that you give 100% with rest, just like you would give 100% exercising.
Today
Told my mom I was going to wake up early in the morning to go use the treadmill. But she told me she planned on going down there. I am a bit disappointed that I’ll have to do my workout in the afternoon, but I am sure as hell not going to get upset that my mom wants to be healthy. GO MUMMA!
My legs are sore AF from my legs and cardio workout yesterday! But today I’m going to push through and go for a nice power walk later today.
